Nowadays, to say that a pet is another member of the family, is nothing new.
Organizing a "Pet Day" gives all the owners of dogs, cats, turtles, rabbits, birds, etc., an opportunity to meet at the School and introduce that family member of another species, but by no means of an inferior category, to their friends and classmates. Even more so, when in many cases pets have been adopted, and this shows the generosity of these families.
Children come proudly to show off their pets. There is a real tenderness in this relationship that undoubtedly encourages a more balanced and open personality.
We take advantage of these days to send educational messages that reinforce the behaviour needed towards pets and the rest of society. That is why we are accompanied by the municipal police and some trainers who give examples of how to do things properly in order to benefit everyone.
And, if it is a splendid day with plenty of smiles and good humour from beginning to end, as was the case, it encourages us to repeat the event next year.
Thanks to all those who took part, the organizers and collaborating companies.
